Shrewsbury in Bloom Greenhouse Open Evening 2026

Join us for a special Open Evening at Weeping Cross Nursery on Wednesday, 20th May, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

As one of the key contributors to Shrewsbury’s stunning floral displays, Weeping Cross Nursery grows over 300,000 plants each year, playing a vital role in the town’s continued success in Britain in Bloom. Last year Shrewsbury achieved a prestigious gold award at the RHS Britain in Bloom UK finals for the small city category. We look forward to achieving more success in 2026.

To celebrate this achievement, Shrewsbury Town Council, in partnership with Shrewsbury in Bloom, is opening its doors for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the nursery’s work. Visitors will enjoy:

🌸 A chance to meet the team behind Shrewsbury’s award-winning floral displays
